From your door to our depot
Book a collection from your home or workplace and we'll take your 10c containers from there. Here are the key things you need to know:
Service fee
Fees vary by area. Some providers charge nothing, others 2 to 4¢ per container or a flat rate of about $4.
Check your suburb
Collect is growing, but we're not everywhere yet. Check what's available in your area.
100 containers minimum
You'll need at least 100 containers for a collection.
Bank transfer or donation
Refunds go to the bank account or cause set on your Member Number. Cash isn't available through Collect.
How to book a collection
Containers for Change Collection Service makes it easier to return your containers. Here's how to get started:
1. Make a booking
Book through the online portal or the Containers for Change App using your Member Number.
2. Add your details and pick a provider
You'll need your address and a rough count of containers. Choose from the providers available in your area.
3. Label your bags
You'll get a booking reference once your collection is confirmed - attach it to every bag or bin. Make sure bags are sturdy enough to hold the weight.
4. Prepare your containers for collection
Leave your bags or bins somewhere safe and accessible on collection day. Once they're counted, your refund is on its way. We'll email you updates along the way.

Please note: Containers for Change Collect refunds are processed via bank transfer or direct donation through a Member Number only. Cash is not available. You can set your preferred payment option in your Member Number account.
