What is a member number?
When you sign up for a Containers for Change membership, you’ll be given a unique member number with your account. You can use your member number on return so you can record and track your impact. Plus you’ll be able to access a range of great features and services with it. Our membership is free and open to everyone in WA.

It’s easy and takes just 30 seconds. All you need is your contact details. Your unique number comes with a member account you can access via our member portal or app where you will find great features and tools to help you save containers.

Once you sign up into your member account, you will find your unique member number on your dashboard.
Download it to your phone's digital wallet, share it with your household members, or note it down so you have it handy during your next return.
Set up your payment method
Before your first return, access the member portal and set your preferred payment method in your account. You can set your container refunds to a bank transfer, Paypal, cash or even donate them straight away to a good cause.
Use your number on return
Depending on the way you return, show your member number, scan it or write it on a tag and attach it to your bags so we know those containers are yours. We'll count your 10¢ containers, record it on your account, and process your refund using your preferred payment method.
